Oxford Time Travel Series: The Winds of Marble Arch and Other Stories, Black Out, All Clear, The Doomsday Book and To Say Nothing of the Dog

Connie Willis has written several stories in the same universe dealing with time-travelling historians know known as the Oxford Time Travel Series.  

The series consists of:

• Fire watch (novelette) contained in Subterranean Press' The Winds of Marble Arch and Other Stories: a Connie Willis Compendium
• Doomsday Book
• To Say Nothing of the Dog 
• Blackout
• All Clear

The series is set in the 2050’s and 2060’s. Time travel has been invented. But since it is apparently impossible to bring objects back from the past, commercial organisations lost interest, and time travel is now the domain of the history departments of universities. Historians travel back in time, to engage in research of the periods they are studying.

The Winds of Marble having been published by Subterranean Press in 2007, Black Out and All Clear three and four years later and finally a decade passing before the Doomsday Book was finally published by Subterranean Press, as you can imagine, putting matching numbered sets together was no small task, but we dug deep and came up with one, and only one completely completely matching set, so when it is gone it is gone, consequently it ain't cheap!  We have a few sets with matching numbered All Clear, Blackout and the Doomsday Books with either an unmatched limited edition of The Winds of Marble Arch or a trade of it to complete Subterranean Press' publications of this series to date.
