Published in 2006 this is the first separate publication of a short story first published in 1973: now with a four-page afterword by the author (''How I Wrote 'The Wish''').

Lettered Edition: limited to 52 leatherbound hardcover numbered copies signed by the author in paper printed pictorial envelope without dustjacket as issued.

Note: Bill's Copy is designed "Bill Schafer" on both the envelope and front of the book and on the limitation line as pictured.  Also the envelope has a metal clasp and the inside gromits have scratched the leather a little, not so much on the front, see pictures.
