Roger Zelazny readily admitted that his Amber series would have never happened without Kuttner's The Dark World. His work has been adapted into some memorable films: “The Graveyard Rats” in Trilogy of Terror II / “Mimsy were the Borogoves” as The Last Mimzy / “The Twonky” as The Twonky (starring Hans Conried) /“Vintage Season” as Timescape. He was also a friend of H. P. Lovecraft and contributed stories to the Cthulhu Mythos.
