Originally Published in 1987 by Donald Grant, the 1st trade edition (the copies we have have some fading of the spines as shown below) was produced in an original print run of 30,000 copies, it was later reprinted with a second print run of only 11,000 copies in 1998 and was only available as a set with a third printing Gunslinger and 1st edition Wastelands all housed in a slipcase.  We broke up some sets!

Second Printing

LImited Edition limited to 850 signed, numbered and slipcased  copies

We received a number of copies, PC (Publisher's Copy) and Author's copies ALL the jackets have faded spines an example of which is shown below.  Otherwise, unless described in more detail the books, slipcase and jackets are new and unread and in fine condition.

The following information was from http://www.stephenkingcollector.com/limited/dt2.html

12 copies reserved for the publisher, marked: "Publisher's Copy"

40 copies reserved for the author, marked: "Author's Copy"

As you can see the pinkish red color on the jacket is faded on the spine, this is a real problem with this book and new dustjackets just do not seem to be available the black and white colors are fine and if you ddn't look real close and/or know what you are looking for most of them you cannot even tell, but the fading is there.

We have a PC listed below as NF (Near Fine) which not only has the fading to the spine, but some edgewear on the corners of the dust jacket where it is folded against the boards from sliding in and out of slipcase. And the slipcase itself does have a bit of fading.
