By Joe R. Lansdale
Dustjacket and interior art by Doug Potter.
The idea behind The Lost Lansdale program is to publish among the good, some of the interesting, and to do it in such a manner that they will be limited in number, and will not, in original form, and in some cases, any form, see publication again.
Something Lumber This Way Comes is a children's book influenced by Ray Bradbury's classic novel (Something Wicked This Way Comes). It's inspired by, and set on the scene of, Lansdale's classic horror novel, The Nightrunners. While it shares that graphic novel's milieu, the focus here is on the atmospheric and spooky, making this truly a tale for all ages!
No second printing.
No paperback.
Signed: This is the same book as the limited, but it does not contain the limitation page, but Joe Lansdale signed the title page
Limited to 500 signed and numbered copies and SOLD OUT at the publisher
Lettered limited to 13 copies housed in a traycase with an original illustration from the book is matted into the traycase of each Lettered copy.
Note: We pulled from our collection a PC copy which did not contain an origianl illustration as there were only 13 (including the cover) in the book and all those originally went in the actual lettered copies. I believe the story is, and remember I'm old (Tony, not Kim!) and this was over 20 years ago, that Doug Potter was doing some work for us and we asked him to draw an original drawing for our copy, unlike the ones from the book it is in color. A true one of a kind piece.
Pictured are the original pieces offered for sale (the color one is in the PC, the Black and White the actual lettered copy.
