A quarterly, digest-sized, fiction magazine

PS Publishing will be launching a new digest-sized, quarterly fiction magazine around springtime 2004

The magazine’s working title is 'Postscripts' and it will feature around 60,000 words of fiction (SF, Fantasy, Horror and Crime/Suspense), plus a guest editorial, book reviews and occasional non fiction. The first story has already been accepted -- Ramsey Campbell’s 'Direct Line' -- and Edward Miller will be providing the cover artwork. They are hoping that the first two or three issues will also include Gene Wolfe, Michael Marshall Smith, Graham Joyce, Ian McDonald, Peter Hamilton, Harlan Ellison, Steven Erikson and others, and they are already talking to the first couple of Guest Editorial 'volunteers'.

The first issue of the brand new Postscripts magazine will be published in April 2004, and will feature the following line-up of fiction and articles:

  • 'Roads Were Burning' -- Adam Roberts
  • 'The Visitation' -- Ray Bradbury
  • 'Riff' -- Ed Gorman
  • 'The Rose Egg' -- Jay Lake
  • Interview with James P. Blaylock -- John Berlyne
  • 'Prize Crew' -- Gene Wolfe
  • 'The Overwhelm' -- Allen Ashley
  • 'A Choice of Eternities' -- Eric Brown
  • 'Stripping' -- Joyce Carol Oates
  • 'Tarzan of the Alps' by Brian W. Aldiss
  • 'Original Sin' -- Lawrence Gordon Clark
  • 'Seventeen Syllables' -- James Lovegrove
