Delirium Ultra Set

Between 2003 and 2006 Delirium produced its "Ultra Series"  with the exception of the two prototype titles, Mean Sheep and The Rising, of which there were only six numbered copies produced of each, the eight books created in the series were each limited to 26, each numbered from 1 to 26.  Each book was bound in leather and housed in a leather traycase.  Very elegantly produced, these were among the premere Delirium productions.  We offer here two sets, one is an unmatched set containing one each of the eight books in the series, the second contains all ten books, the two prototypes in addition to the eight titles of the series, THIS SET MATCHES, ALL TITLES ARE NUMBER 6!

Taken from Collecting Darkness: 10 years of Delirium Books by Larry L. Roberts and H. Michael Casper published in 2010 of the Rising Prototype: "Key title, the ultra edition of only 6 copies is nearly impossible to acquire" the value listed at that time was $3500.00!  On page 328 of that same book the authors list the Top 18 Most Valuable Books produced by Delirium, on that list are 6 of the 10 Ultras including The Rising, Broken on the Wheel of Sex, Sixteen Sucking Stories, The Parasite, Punktown and Mean Sheep.  The Ultra Titles make up a third of that list while they represent a small fraction of what Delirium published.

We cannot remember when a set from this series was offered for sale, we have never seen a complete set which includes the prototypes ever offered for sale!  When these are gone, they are gone, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity!

I am only showing the prototypes below, the remaining are all as pictured above, but number 6 and none are inscribed.  Please note these as with the set listed above are all bound in very soft leather, they may show indentations from where something may have laid against them over the years or simply show defects in the leather as you can see in the picture of the traycase of Mean Sheep below, this is not damage, this is the leather.
