Dust jacket and interior illustrations by Vincent Chong
Harry Dresden must save Chicago from black magic and necromancy — but first, he must locate the Word of Kemmler. Just as soon as he figures out what that is. It’s all in a day’s work for the city’s only professional wizard … assuming he can live to see the end of the day.
Subterranean Press is proud to announce the seventh of Jim Butcher’s Dresden Files novels, in a deluxe collectable hardcover, meant to give a lifetime of enjoyment.
Their edition of Dead Beat will be printed on 80# Finch Opaque, their preferred paper for higher-end limited editions, with a number of full-page interior illustrations, as well as a full-color dust jacket. Vincent Chong will once again be handling the illustrations.
Limited: 500 numbered hardcovers, signed by author (note: this is for a stand-alone unmatched copy) and sold out at the publisher
Lettered: 26 copies, bound in leather and cloth, signed by author, housed in a custom traycase
A "PC" copy is identical in every way to a lettered copy but has the letters "PC" in the limitation line, the "PC" denotes "Publisher's Copy" and is one of a very few copies produced for use by the Publisher, usually for contributors.
