Stephen King has authorized this limited reprinting of the first two books in the Dark Tower series, THE GUNSLINGER and THE DRAWING OF THE THREE, to enable us to match them with our remaining copies of the the First Hardcover Edition of THE DARK TOWER III: THE WASTE LANDS. THE GUNSLINGER is the third hardcover printing (The first two were in 1982 and 1984) while THE DRAWING OF THE THREE is a new edition (original printing was in 1987) as Phil Hale has painted ten brand new oil paintings for this special edition. He was one of the artists who illustrated our edition of THE TALISMAN and was also chosen by Stephen King to illustrate the first edition of his novel INSOMNIA, published by Mark Ziesing. Phil was 23 when he illustrated THE DRAWING OF THE THREE eleven years ago and has done another incredible job for our new edition.
